No. 22 Keiser University started their spring season with a 2-1 defeat to Mobile University on Sunday afternoon in Mobile, Ala.
- Mobile bagged the opening goal in the 14th minute as Maxime Benoit scored off a deflected free kick by Ronaldo Fortune.
- The Seahawks played a man down after player sent off with a red card in the 22nd minute.
- The score would remain the same going into halftime with Keiser trailing 6-3 in shots.
- KU broke through a minute in to the second half as Julius Fassbinder rocketed a free kick past the keeper, tying the game 1-1.
- In the 75th minute, Mobile jumped back in front as Ronaldo Fortune scored from 40-yards out, winning 2-1.
- This was the first spring game in program history due to the NAIA moving Fall Championships to the spring due to COVID-19.
- The Seahawks fall to 1-2 all-time against Mobile.
- Hannu Tam and Julius Fassbinder led the Seahawks in shots with two apiece
