Sun Conference Men's Soccer Semifinals 

For the third consecutive year, the Keiser men's soccer team advanced to the Sun Conference Championship Game following a 3-0 win over Webber International on Tuesday morning. Alexander Steen scored the eventual game-winner in the third minute as KU improved to 4-3-4 all-time in SUN Semifinal contests.


.How it Happened
  • Forward Alexander Steen notched his first goal of the season, one-timing a cross by Hannu Tam in the third minute. The score was set up by both Tam and Lucas Jacobs, who were both credited with assists on the goal.
  • The score was the only one of the half, as Keiser held a 12-3 edge in total shots in the first 45 minutes.
  • Forty-five seconds into the second half, Elias Jassim gave the Seahawks a 2-0 lead with his first score of the 2021 season.
  • Keiser added an insurance goal in the 68th minute following a beautiful give-and-go between Lucca Carvalho and Luca Malvicini in the Warrior area. Carvalho notched his fifth goal of the season. Malvicini earned his fourth assist of 2021.
  • Goalkeeper Dario Salzer earned his fourth win of the season and third clean sheet of 2021, making two saves in the contest. 
  • For the game, KU out-shot the Warriors, 23-7 (9-2 on goal).
