The No. 7 Keiser Seahawks suffered a 4-3 setback against No. 3 Cardinal Stritch on Wednesday evening in Orlando, Fla. The loss drops the Seahawks to 9-3 on the season.

• Luke Simkiss and Geronimo Barrios gave Keiser the advantage in doubles with a 6-2 victory in the second slot.
• Julian Turosienski and Olivier Koeng clinched the lone doubles point out of the third spot, winning, 6-4.
• Riccardo Ferraris and Juan Marrero were tied 4-4 with No. 6 Niccolo Rossi and Nicola Wehrle when their match was stopped since Keiser won the point.

• Simkiss downed No. 27 Niccolo Rossi, 6-2, 6-1 as the Seahawks advantage grew to 2-0.
• No. 13 Turosienski suffered a 6-4, 6-4 setback against No. 28 Michael Delebois in the fourth position.
• Cardinal Stritch tied the match at two-apiece when Enrico Hao Le fell in the sixth spot, 6-3, 6-3.
• Barrios put Keiser back on top with a 7-5, 6-1 win in the No. 2 spot against Appelaniz.
• The Wolves evened the match for a second time as No. 42 Marrero loss to No. 46 Wehrle, 3-6, 6-4, 3-6, setting up a winner take all match on court five.
• The Seahawks dropped the match when No. 37 Gerard Andres Rodriguez lost to No. 30 Martinez, 6-7, 6-4, 3-6.

   
Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "Tonight was not a good night for us as we were unable to keep our energy throughout the entire match. We came out early on but really let up late and that cost us the match. We've got to be better in the big moments against good teams. We had plenty of chances to win the match with our upper-classmen on the court but they were unable to get it done. We have a lot to work on as move forward this season."


The Seahawks will return to Orlando, Fla. on Saturday to take on No. 8 Point University at 1:00 p.m.
