The No. 4 Keiser women's lacrosse team opened Mid-South play with a convincing, 21-9, victory over No. 9 Georgetown on Tuesday afternoon in West Palm Beach.  Se'Anna Beikirch and Cat Raymond paced the offensive attack with four goals apiece.

First Half
Keiser 7, Georgetown 5
  • The Seahawks netted the opening five goals before Georgetown found the back of the net with 18:48 remaining in the half.
  • In that span, Raymond scored twice and Melanie Brown assisted on three goals.
  • After trading goals, the Tigers tallied five of the final six goal of the half to trail the Seahawks, 7-5.

Second Half
Keiser 21, Georgetown 9
  • Keiser tallied eight unanswered goals to start the new half, stretching their advantage to 15-5 with 17:13 left in the half. Johnson and Beikirch led the charge with two goals apiece.
  • The Tigers answered with four consecutive tallies to get within, 15-9, with 9:43 showing on the scoreboard.
  • However, the Seahawks netted the final six goals of the game, winning their Mid-South opener, 21-9. Brown had two goals during the run for KU.

  • 4: Raymond and Beikirch led the Keiser offense with four goals apiece.
  • 6: Keiser totaled 32 total points on the afternoon, with Brown posting a game-high six.
