  • The Seahawks retied the match when No. 42 Marrero toppled Lynch in the third slot, 6-2, 7-5.
  • The Wildcats climbed back ahead of KU out of the fourth spot as No. 13 Turosienski dropped a three-set match, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3.
  • Simkiss knotted the match at three-apiece, coming from behind to win, 6-7, 6-4, 6-2, setting up a winner take all match on court two.
  • Keiser dropped their first match of the year after Barrios lost in the second slot, 4-6, 6-4, 2-6.

Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "Today was a tough match for us as we couldn't come up with the big points when we needed them the most. We have a talented team that needs to come together and when we do, it'll be hard to beat us. Today will be a good learning lesson for us and we will get better as we move forward."
