Adrian Camacho Castro played a part in three of the four Keiser goals as the No. 22 Seahawks upended the Bobcats of St. Thomas, 4-1 on Sunday afternoon in West Palm Beach. All four KU goals came in the second half after the contest was scoreless at the half.
How it Happened
  • In the 23rd minute, Hannu Tam was open in the middle of the box but his shot bounced off a sliding defender and just over the crossbar.
  • Lucas Jacobs was on a break away in the 38th minute but was unable to beat a diving keeper to his left.
  • The physical contest remained scoreless at the intermission with Keiser holding a 6-4 advantage in shots.
  • The Seahawks broke through in the 53rd minute when Jacobs crossed the ball from the right side, finding Camacho Castro for the opening goal.
  • St. Thomas evened the game in 62nd minute when their leading scorer, Fernando Arenzo found the back of the net off a long ball over the top by Fred Smith.
  • Keiser retook the advantage in the 81st minute as Bruno Silva Moreira volleyed home the corner by Camacho Castro.
  • Three minutes later, Camacho Castro put the game away with his ninth goal of the year off a great diagonal through ball from Silva Moreira.
  • Ciro Damine put an exclamation mark on the Sun Conference Game of the Week with his team-best 11th goal of the year off a feed from Silva Moreira.
