- The game remained even through the opening 30 minutes as both teams combined for six shots, but none found the back of the net.
- Georgia Gwinnett scored the lone goal in the half in the 32nd minute as Ilan Adam scored from the top of the box off a corner kick.
- The Seahawks equalized the game in the 51st minute as Ciro Damine sailed a left-footed strike to the back of the net.
- Adrian Camacho Castro gave Keiser their first lead of the game in the 57th minute when he beat the keeper off a great feed from Evan Finnegan.
- However, Toni Tiente responded back for the Grizzlies in the 63rd minute, knotting the game at 2-2.
- Moritz Bange nearly scored the game-winner in the final minute of regulation as Matija Gligorovic made a great save forcing the game into overtime.
- Georgia Gwinnett scored the golden goal in the 93rd minute when Ian Aramburu beat her defender off a pass from Alfredo Rivera, winning 3-2.
