Keiser Highlights
  • Keiser finished with seven hits in the contest, with Megan Carver having the lone multi-hit game for KU.
  • Dominguez was credited for the only run scored for Keiser.
  • Autumn Green took the loss in the circle, tossing a complete game allowing three runs with only one them being earned to go along with four strikeouts.
     
How it Happened
  • The game went scoreless until the fourth when Janelle Dominguez launched a one-out solo home run to left field for a 1-0 Keiser lead.
  • Webber answered with a leadoff home run in the bottom half and took a 2-1 advantage following a two-out fielding error on the shortstop.
  • The Warriors tacked on a third run in the fifth on a throwing error by the catcher
  • Carver led off the seventh with a single to right and advanced to second on a groundout. However, Test struck out swinging as KU dropped their first game of the day, 3-1.

Keiser Highlights
  • Avery Miller broke the season record for doubles with her 20th of the year during the first inning, previously set by Carly Gragtmans during the 2006 season.
  • Keiser recorded with eight hits in the contest, with Dominguez having the lone multi-hit game for Keiser.
  • Autumn Green took the loss in the circle, tossing a complete game with three strikeouts.

Dominguez finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of doubles and a run scored.

How it Happened
  • Keiser scored three runs in the first inning highlighted by back-to-back RBI doubles to left center by Avery Miller and Cheyenne Blumberg. Larrissa Ostrander drove in the third run of the inning with an RBI single to center.
  • Webber responded back with two runs in the bottom half, as KU led 3-2.
  • In the fourth, Dominguez led off the inning with a double to left center and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt before scoring on a single to right by Carver, extending the advantage to 4-2.
  • WIU pushed across six runs with one in the fourth, four in the fifth, and one in the sixth to take an 8-4 lead.
