Doubles

• The Seahawks dropped the opening doubles match in the first slot as No. 3 Riccardo Ferraris and Olivier Koeng fell to No. 4 Andres Donayre and Juan Ortiz Couder, 6-2.
• Embry-Riddle earned the doubles point after Julian Turosienski and Anthony Van Rompay lost 6-4 in the No. 3 position. This was the first match of the year for the Seahawks duo.
• Geronimo Barrios and Arthur Bonnaud played out there match despite the doubles point already belonging to ERAU, falling, 6-4.

 
Singles

• The Eagles lead was stretched to 2-0 when Barrios fell to No. 22 Couder in straight sets from the No. 1 slot, 6-3, 6-0.
• ERAU closed to within a point of clinching the match when Gerard Rodriguez suffered a 6-2, 6-1 setback against Bos in the fourth slot.
• The match was clinched in the No. 5 singles position as Faucher downed No. 17 Turosienski, 7-5, 6-3.
• The Seahawks dropped the final three points of the night despite them all going three-sets as ERAU handed Keiser a 7-0 loss on the road.

 
Coach's Corner
Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "The boy's really struggled today as we didn't do a good job of playing big in the important moment and had low energy. When you combine those things, it can make for a long day and that it was. Credit to Embry-Riddle as they played well and kept the pressure on us, but by no mean was today our best performance. We will get back to work and fix things as we prepare for this weekend."
