The third-ranked Seahawks women's swimming team dropped a 174-79 decision to No. 6 NCAA Division II University of Tampa on Thursday afternoon.

Women's Highlights

• The Seahawks finished 2-3 in the 100-yard freestyle with Emma Sofie Augustsson (56.17) and Anna Lofton (58.54).
• The 800-yard freestyle relay tandem of Stefania Sofouli, Annamaria Zombai, Gaja Kristan, and Augustsson placed second in 8:24.10.
• In the 100-yard backstroke, Kamryn Gallowich finished runner-up with a time of 1:02.69.
• Annamaria Zombai took second in the 100-yard breaststroke, touching the pads at 1:15.06. The junior from Hungary also took fourth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:04.49.
• Anna Herbst posted a runner-up finish in the 50-yard butterfly. She also placed third in the 100-yard IM (1:04.64), behind teammate Lofton (1:04.32).
• Sofouli was also a runner-up in the 400-yard freestyle, touching in at 4:16.22.
• In the 50-yard backstroke, KU finished 3-4 with Augustsson (28.58) and Herbst (28.77).

Keiser will conclude their regular season at home on Jan. 26 at 10 am.  when they welcome Nova Southeastern University to Lake Lytal. The Seahawks will honor their seniors prior to the start of their home finale.
