TURNING POINT
The Seahawks had momentum on their side before play was halted due to weather in the area with the game deadlocked at six-apiece. Lawrence Tech used the break to their advantage by outscoring the Seahawks 7-1 to take a 13-7 advantage with 18:34 remaining in regulation.

  • Mazreku then converted on a free position attempt with 1:35 remaining in the first half to give Keiser their first lead of the tournament, 5-4.
  • Reich came up with three huge saves in the final 25 seconds of the half to keep the Seahawks in front by one at the halftime break.

  • Three minutes later, Towner drew the game even for a third and final time in the game with an unassisted goal.
  • Following the first weather delay, the Blue Devils tallied back-to-back goals to jump back in front, 8-6, but Christner found the back of the net off a great feed from Raymond to climb within one at the 22:38 mark.
