KU HIGHLIGHTS
- The Seahawks were making their debut in the NAIA National tournament and fell to No. 4 Lawrence Tech, 16-12 in the quarterfinal round.
- The game endured two lightning delays during the second half lasting a combined two hours and 45 minutes. The first delay was 70 minutes at the 24:59 mark followed by a 90-minute delay at the 13:16 mark.
- Kyli Towner led the Seahawks with four goals while Hayley Mazreku finished with a hat-trick.

TURNING POINT
The Seahawks had momentum on their side before play was halted due to weather in the area with the game deadlocked at six-apiece. Lawrence Tech used the break to their advantage by outscoring the Seahawks 7-1 to take a 13-7 advantage with 18:34 remaining in regulation.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lawrence Tech netted the opening goal of the game before Caitlin Christner equalized with an unassisted goal at the 23:05 mark of the first half.
- The Blue Devils responded with three consecutive goals to take a 4-1 advantage but Keiser matched the run to knot the game at 4-4 with 7:29 to play as Huber, Mazreku, and Casey Sprague tallied one goal apiece.
- Mazreku then converted on a free position attempt with 1:35 remaining in the first half to give Keiser their first lead of the tournament, 5-4.
- Reich came up with three huge saves in the final 25 seconds of the half to keep the Seahawks in front by one at the halftime break.
- LTU found the back of the net twice in the opening 57 seconds of the new half to reclaim a 6-5 edge.
- Three minutes later, Towner drew the game even for a third and final time in the game with an unassisted goal.
- Following the first weather delay, the Blue Devils tallied back-to-back goals to jump back in front, 8-6, but Christner found the back of the net off a great feed from Raymond to climb within one at the 22:38 mark.
- Lawrence Tech then surged ahead by scoring five consecutive times to push the margin to 13-7 with 18:34 left in regulation.
- Mazreku and Towner each beat the keeper to pull the Seahawks to within 13-9 at the 14:30 mark but the Blue Devils converted on a free position shot to make it a five-goal game.
- A minute later, the contest went into a second delay before Lawrence Tech took their largest lead of the game, 16-9, with 9:01 showing on the scoreboard.
- Keiser tallied the final three goals of the game including a pair from Towner but it wasn't enough as the Seahawks were eliminated from the NAIA tournament, 16-12.
