Game One
Keiser Highlights
  • Kelsey Brodbeck had the lone two hits for Keiser in game one.
  • Autumn Green threw a complete game, allowing just two runs on four hits. She also struck out a pair in the process.

Turning Point
Southeastern scored the lone runs of the game in the first on a one-out, two-run double to left by Brandee Pietzrack. 

How it Happened
  • The Seahawks threatened in the opening frame as Brodbeck led off with a single to left and then swiped second. After the next two Keiser batters were retired, Brodbeck stole third but Cheyenne Blumberg struck out to end the frame.
  • The Fire then pushed the lone runs of the game across in the bottom half on a two-run double to left by Pietrzak, winning, 2-0.
 
Game Two
Keiser Highlights
  • Brodbeck tallied three of Keiser's eight hits in the game, including a triple.
  • Blumberg had a multi-hit performance with a pair of singles.
  • Paige Boyle suffered the loss despite tossing a complete game.
     
Turning Point
Southeastern broke the stalemate in the fourth as Natalie Hughes delivered a pinch-hit RBI double, scoring Pietrzak from second for a 1-0 lead.

How it Happened
  • Both teams were held scoreless until the fourth when the Fire pushed across a run on a pair of doubles.
  • The Seahawks looked to equalize the contest in the fifth as Brodbeck laced a one-out triple into the right-center gap. However,  the senior was stranded as Ashley Appell retired the next two batters on a groundout and fly out.
  • Southeastern added an insurance run in the sixth as Pietzrak connected on a leadoff home run to left.

The Seahawks look to bounce back at home on Wednesday, April 4th against St. Thomas. Game one is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
