Match Summary
The No. 3 ranked Men's Tennis team swept Southeastern University 9-0 in their 2018 season opener Saturday afternoon. With the win, Keiser improves to 6-0 all-time against the Fire in program history.

Doubles
- The Seahawks jumped out in front 1-0 after Nicolas Guerschanik and Olivier Koeng defeated Felipe Barbosa and Thomas Ortega 8-3 in the No. 2 doubles slot.
- Vicente Lagos and Arthur Bonnaud doubled KU's lead as they picked up an 8-4 victory in the No. 3 doubles position over Hugo Pires and Pedro Bahnuik.
- Keiser completed the doubles sweep over Southeastern as the duo Adrian Frutos and Marc Algeri won 8-4 over Lucca Marcheschi and Aaron Skingley.
Singles
- The Seahawks stretched their margin to 4-0 over the Fire when Bonnaud defeated Pires 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 4 singles position.
- Keiser clinched the match when Guerschanik was victorious, 6-0, 6-2 over Ortega in the No. 3 slot.
- KU continued their winning ways over SEU as No. 5 Lagos extended the advantage with a 7-6(4), 6-0 win over Marcjeschi in the top spot, to put the Seahawks up 6-0.
- The Seahawks won the final three matches of the day to complete the 9-0 sweep by a combined score of 37 games to 12.

Daniel Finn said "It feels good to get the season underway and have the boys put on a strong showing like they did. Don't get me wrong, we have a lot of work to do still and we will certainly get back to work on improving our system. But today was a solid showing and we will enjoy it for today. The guys are fighting hard and competing for every ball and it showed today. This season will be all about the process and next stop now is preparing for Warner next week."
