In a battle of two unbeaten teams, Georgia Gwinnett defeated the Seahawks 4-0 on Monday afternoon in a neutral site game. Keiser will look to bounce back one week from today when they head to William Carey.

Turning Point
Two goals scored by the Grizzles in the first six minutes of the contest proved to be the difference as the Seahawks dropped their first game of the season.  

How it Happened
  • Georgia Gwinnett stormed out of the gate with a goal in the third minute and tacked on a second goal three minutes later.
  • The Grizzles added to their lead in the 27th minute when Jack Gurr headed in a cross from the right side by Michael Webber.
  • After a scoreless first 40 minutes of the second half, GGC scored the final goal of the game after Carlos Delarosa had a one touch finish inside the box off an assist by Krishana Clarke.
 
Game Notes
  • This was the first meeting between these two teams.
  • Lee Clark finished with a career high seven saves in goal.
  • Keiser is now 1-1 on the year against ranked opponents.
