Coach's Corner
"Great effort by the boys today," stated head coach
Daniel Finn. "Ultimately we came up short of our goal but I can't say enough about how hard the boys competed today. We had some really bad breaks not go our way and found ourselves down 3-0 early after doubles. That is a point where a lot of teams would go away. However, the boys continued to fight all the way until the end and had opportunities down the stretch. The match score really doesn't indicate how close this match truly was. If we take one or both of those tiebreakers in doubles, this could have been a totally different outcome. Credit to Xavier as today they were the better team. It's hard to look up at this point, but it was a great season for the boys and I am extremely proud to be able to be their coach. Today wasn't our day but the future is bright for this program."
