Turning Point
The turning point came in the bottom of the seventh with two outs and nobody on base for the Seahawks.
Alyssa Cabral reached on an error and Nicholas walked to have runners on first and second. Kelsey Brodbeck then singled to second to tie the game at 9-9 and
Kristen Garceau roped a single up the middle to win in walk off fashion 10-9.

How it Happened
- Edward Waters struck first with a run in the first on a single to left before the Seahawks went ahead in the bottom half on a C. Miller two run double to right center to lead 2-1.
- After holding the Tigers scoreless in the second, Keiser struck with four runs in the bottom half. Alyssa Cabral singled up the middle with one out, and scored on a Nicholas triple to right. Nicholas also scored on the play after a throwing error by the right fielder to take a 4-1 advantage.
- Brodbeck and Garceau then singled and executed a double steal. Bermari Figueroa brought in both runners with a single down the left field line, making it 6-1.
- The Tigers answered with three runs in the third, two in the fourth, and three in the fifth to retake a 9-6 advantage.
- The Seahawks settled down in the sixth and retired the Tigers in order before plating two runs in the bottom half. Nicholas and Brodbeck led off with singles and moved up a base on a Garceau sacrifice.
- C. Miller plated Nicholas on a sacrifice fly to left and Figueroa followed with a single through the left side, getting Keiser to within 9-8.
- Keiser then won the game in the bottom of the seventh with two outs, after a single by Brodbeck tied the game and Garceau walked the game off with a single up the middle to win 10-9.

Keiser Highlights
- Cheyenne Blumberg registered the first home run of the season in the seventh inning with her solo homer.
- C. Miller and A. Miller paced the offense with three hits apiece as the Seahawks ended the game with 16.
- Caylor (3-1) picked up the win in the circle after getting the start and A. Williams notched her first save of the season, throwing the final three innings with two strikeouts.

Turning Point
The turning point occurred in the first inning as the Seahawks jumped out to an early 4-0 advantage. All four runs in the inning came off RBI singles by Garceau, Figueroa, and Test.
How it Happened
- The Seahawks came out of the gate fast as Brodbeck led off with a walk and moved to third on a stolen base and wild pitch. Garceau then lined a 1-1 pitch to right field for a quick 1-0 lead. Garceau proceeded to steal second and third and came home on a single up the middle by Figueroa to make it 2-0.
- Troiana Test capped the scoring in the inning with a single to left center, raising the margin to 4-1.
- Cumberland cut the deficit to one in the third on a sacrifice fly and a throwing error by the left fielder, but the Seahawks would tack on a pair of runs in the bottom half.
- Avery Miller began things with a triple to right center and scored on a first pitch fielder's choice by Aquaria Baines, making it 5-3. After Keiser loaded the bases on a walk and single, Blumberg pushed a run across with a sacrifice fly to right, raising the margin to 6-3.
- The Bulldogs added a run in the third on a two out double down the left field line, trimming the deficit to 6-4.
- Neither team scored again until the sixth when C. Miller singled to center, scoring Garceau who had doubled to left. After a Figueroa single to the pitcher, back to back singles by A. Miller and Baines extended the advantage to 9-4.
- Blumberg led off the seventh with a solo homer to left center and C. Miller scored the final run of the game on an RBI single to right center, winning 11-4.

"I couldn't be prouder of this group," said head coach
Terri Knecht. "We didn't play the cleanest softball today and had to battle back. However, we kept our composure and believed we could win."

The Seahawks will be back in action on Thursday afternoon for their home opening doubleheader against College of St. Joseph. The games are scheduled for 2:00 and 4:00 PM.
