Kelsey Brodbeck.
Avery Miller delivered the other run on a single down the left field line scoring C. Miller.
Â
How it Happened
- Keiser started the game quick, plating a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning.
- Brodbeck led off with a walk and then stole second. After a groundout to the shortstop moved Brodbeck to third, C. Miller delivered the season's first run, with her single. With two outs, A. Miller singled to extend the advantage to 2-0.
- The Seahawks tacked on two more runs in the third inning. Bermari Figueroa walked and advanced to third on a single to center by Aquaria Baines.
- A. Miller then plated Figueroa on a fielder's choice, and Alyssa Cabral capped the inning with a sacrifice fly to center, making it 4-0.
- Indiana Tech loaded the bases in the fourth with one out, and took advantage of an error by the shortstop, scoring two runs, trimming the deficit to 4-2. However, A. Williams limited the damage by getting a groundout to first and a fly out to left. The Seahawks then answered with three runs in the bottom half of the inning.
- After the first two batters were retired, Kristen Garceau roped a single to right field. Garceau then stole second and third and scored on a single by Figueroa to lead 5-2. Baines cleared the bases with a single up the middle, pushing the advantage to 7-2.
- A. Williams would do the rest and now allow the Warriors to score again, securing the 7-2 season opening win.

Keiser mounted a seventh inning comeback but had the game tying run thrown out at home to end the game.
