Coach's Corner
Coach
Gavin Oldham said, "The boys fought well for the full 90 minutes today in a hot affair. We started sluggishly but grew into it and felt comfortable after we converted a penalty when
Luca Bargiggia was brought down in the box. Our second goal came as we played some nice stuff towards the end of the first half and Balaguer slotted home the ball from close range after some good combination play. Second half we had chances to kill the game off but couldn't quite find that killer touch. Both teams tired as the half progressed but when we conceded a goal from a free kick it spurred them on to push for the equalizer. We absorbed the pressure well enough to get us across the line with the win."
