The Keiser University softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader to #12 Southeastern on Saturday afternoon. The Seahawks moved to 14-20 overall and 2-6 in Sun Conference games.
Game 1: Southeastern defeated Keiser 5-0.
Game 2: Â The Fire took down the Seahawks 2-0.
- Southeastern pushed a run across in the first and one in the fourth to win 2-0.
- The Seahawks threatened in the fourth when Alyssa Cabral led off with a single to center and moved to second on a one out single to left by Baker. A Stormy Stokes fielder's choice moved both runners up a base but Southeastern forced an inning ending groundout.
- Riley Caylor threw a complete game with three strikeouts and allowed just five hits.
- Heather Shapiro, Cabral, and Baker had the lone hits for Keiser.
The Seahawks will look to rebound tomorrow at home when they welcome Warner for Senior Day. The games are set for 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
