The #2 seed men's tennis team defeated #3 seed SCAD 5-2 on Friday afternoon in the Sun Conference Semifinals. The Seahawks advance to play #1 seed Embry-Riddle at 10:00 a.m.

Northwood swept the three doubles matches getting off to the 3-0 lead. David Uquillas and Martin Martins picked up the first point at second doubles winning 8-5, and Julian Sarrion and Ignacio Osse grabbed the second at third singles 8-4. Alvaro Iturriaga and Rafael Lenz completed the doubles sweep at the first spot with their 8-6 victory.

In singles, Iturriaga won in the first place 7-6, with a 7-4 win in the tie breaker and then took the second set 6-1. Osse sealed the victory for the Seahawks winning in the fifth spot 6-2, 6-1.
