The Keiser University men's soccer team will begin Sun Conference tournament play Tuesday afternoon at Johnson & Wales. The men enter the contest as the fifth seed with a 6-10-1 overall record and 5-4 TSC mark; while JWU is the fourth seed with a record of 6-7-2 overall and 5-4 in TSC play.
The Seahawks will meet the Wildcats for their second straight game, after falling to them in the season finale last Wednesday 2-0. JWU got a pair of goals from Victor and Pedro Codo in the 36th and 83rd minutes.
Shoval Failer leads Keiser with five goals and three assists for 13 points.
Ben Frogner (3) and
Jesse Alves (2) are the only players with multiple goals on the year.
Vinnie Cainth anchors the backline with 12 starts in goal, making 34 saves while compiling two shutouts.
Johnson & Wales is led by Pedro Codo with six goals and two assists and Valentine Salinas with four goals. Three other Wildcats have three goals while three more have two goals.
