The day began with singles play where Arthur "Wonder Boy" Bonnaud improved to 27-0 in his collegiate career after besting teammate Julian Turosienski in three hard fought sets. Bonnaud dropped the first set to Turosienski, 7-6(2). Third-seeded Bonnaud then rallied to win the next two sets, 7-5, 6-2, to guarantee a spot in the ITA Nationals in Arizona.
