Jade Simpson, Fourth Year, F, Edgewood, Kentucky

Named this week's Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her Keiser career
She recorded a double-double against Trinity Baptist in the second game of the season, scoring 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds
As the starting forward, she totaled 22 rebounds this past week, with nine on the defensive end
Simpson averaged 11.0 rebounds per game and achieved a .650 field goal percentage
The Edgewood, Ky., native also contributed six blocks and four steals in her impressive two-game performance
As a fifth-year senior, she added eight assists to round out her week
