The Keiser University Athletic Department announced a new addition to the Sports Information Department with the hiring of Sophia Nduwayo as the Assistant Sports Information Director. She will serve as the primary contact for Volleyball, Women's Basketball and Baseball while being the primary graphic designer in the department.
"I'm thrilled that Sophia has returned and joined our staff," Assistant AD of Communications Paul Dodson said. "As a graduate assistant, she was a tremendous asset to our office. Her creativity and drive are unparalleled. I look forward to watching her grow as a professional while helping make this office an elite communications department."
Prior to (re)joining the Seahawk staff, Nduwayo served as served as a graduate assistant for two years in the sports information department at Keiser. In her two years, she served as the primary for graphic design and photography for athletics. Additionally, she worked with the men's soccer and flag football teams and served as the graphic designer and department photographer.
Nduwayo is a graduate of Columbia College (Mo.) where she received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2022. She graduated from Keiser University in April 2024 with a Master of Science in Sports Management and Operations specializing in social media marketing.
