Director of Athletics
Kris Swogger announced the hiring of
Jamaine Gordon as the new Head Coach of the Keiser University Track & Field and Cross Country programs. In his 11-year coaching career, he has mentored 165 All-Conference athletes, 102 national qualifiers, 68 All-Americans, 23 Academic All-Americans, nine Conference Athletes of the Year, nine National Champions, and eight Freshman of the Year.
Gordon has spent the previous five seasons at Lindsey Wilson College, where he coached four NAIA National Champions in the women's 100-meter, men's long jump, and a two-time triple jump champion. He has mentored 85 athletes to All-Conference honors, 81 national qualifiers, and 48 All-Americans. In his time, Gordon led the men's team to four outdoor and one indoor Mid-South championships and four outdoor and two indoor Mid-South titles on the women's side. The women's title in 2014 and the men's in 2015 were both firsts in program history. For his efforts, he was a four-time Mid-South Coach of the Year and two-time Kentucky Coach of the Year. At the national level, he led the men's team to their best finish in 2017 of fourth.

Prior to Lindsey Wilson, Gordon served as the recruiting coordinator and assistant track & field coach at Western Kentucky University. He assisted with two men's Sunbelt indoor championships and one outdoor title. Gordon helped the 4x400 relay team qualify for the NCAA National meet and in 2013, he assisted with the NCAA women's triple jump All-American.
Gordon got into the coaching ranks as the head cross country and track & field at Union College for three seasons. He guided the programs to their first conference outdoor titles in school history. In 2008, Gordon helped the men's team to a 13
th place finish at the NAIA National meet.
Gordon ran track & field at Lindsey Wilson, winning the NAIA National Championship in the long jump during the 2005 season. He was a five-time All-American in the triple jump and three-time All-American in the long jump. In addition, he won the Mid-South championship once in the long jump and triple jump.
Gordon graduated from Lindsey Wilson with a Bachelor's of Arts in Communication and an Associate of Arts in Social Sciences.
