The Seahawks women's golf team repeated as NAIA National Champions on Friday afternoon after firing a school best 293 in the second round. The Seahawks have now won three national titles in school history.

William Woods and SCAD-Savannah finished in second 11 strokes behind Keiser. Kaitlyn Riley of Cumberlands won the tournament at four under.

Elsa Westin finished as the tournament runner up for second consecutive season after shooting a two under par with consecutive rounds of 71. She was also named to the All-Tournament team for the second straight year.

Rebecka Holmstrom finished in a tie for 11th at seven over par (78, 73) and was also named to the All-Tournament team. Caroline Retabi carded an eight over (78, 74) to finish tied for 20th, while Sabrina Schloo came in a tie for 55th (83, 75). Anna Felip shot a 20 over (79, 85) to finish tied for 82nd.

Following the tournament, Head Coach Brandon Miller was named NAIA National Coach of the Year for the second straight year. The entire team also earned the Champion of Character Act Award for embodying the five core values of the NAIA.

Head Coach Brandon Miller said, "I'm so proud of our team, back to back National Championships is an amazing accomplishment. This week had its share of challenges with several weather delays; our girls stayed positive and focused all week and that's all I can ask as their coach. Just like last year, our team pulled away from the field in the final round. They all have an uncanny ability to rise to the occasion when the bright lights are shining.  They've accomplished so much on the golf course and in the classroom, they continue to amaze everyone they encounter on a daily basis. I am certainly very lucky to coach this team."
